"What kind of peace do I mean and what kind of a peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, and the kind that enables men and nations to grow, and to hope, and build a better life for their children—not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women, not merely peace in our time but peace in all time."

The End of Life on Earth and Time

"There is no stated date for the end of life on earth. There will be other suns for earth and more suns. But, what is time? There is no time. Man must learn to live with this idea. Time is not needed. Use the Awareness. Man has the ability, innately, to sense time through meditation. This will work. Do not wear a watch for a day and you will know what to do through the Awareness. Why do you get up sometimes at an exact moment without an alarm clock? You do, because of the Awareness. "
